For Clients —
I’ve been told that working with me feels both warm and personal & intellectual and rigorous. Past clients have likened the process to a sort of therapy and one even asked me (jokingly of course) to write their wedding vows for them.
I give these two examples because they encapsulate my highest hopes for our work together: for your strategy to feel like a deeply personal manifestation of your most closely held visions, and for it to be articulated in words so moving, so meaningful, that you’ll return to them time and again. Above all, I hope every strategy I help develop goes on to live a long, vibrant life—inspiring and guiding culture-setting creative work, enabling confident decision-making at key junctures, opening new avenues of thought and business. The end of our work together should be just the start of everything else still to come.
“Angie is our go-to strategist and quickly became an extension of our team. She is a master at distilling down complex systems into coherent and actionable insights and plans. I've partnered with her on big brand strategy projects to internal team roadmapping. She is comfortable working with the C-suite to internal marketing and design teams—always listening empathetically while thinking two steps ahead (her ability to listen and note-take at the same time is uncanny). The end of our projects usually end in a hug—as I always appreciate the care and thoughtfulness she puts into our partnership and engagements.” —Scott | Senior Director, Brand, LA Phil
“Over the first two years of my company journey, I met with a dozen or so brand agencies, ranging from shiny, expensive notables to affordable, but slightly forlorn, no-names. I never bought what any of them were selling, because it never felt like they truly "got" my company. Angie is different—she understands how a company's identity can be (and, in my biased view, absolutely should be) an extremely personal idealization. She is a masterful dot-connector, who works patiently to untangle the skein of ideas, dreams and traumas that shape the companies we devote our lives to. Her style of work is quick and confident, but deeply engaged and thorough. Ultimately, the work we did together changed the trajectory of the company, and I consider myself lucky to have worked with her.” —Eugene | Founder, Dims.
